BLADE:

-The blade was made of T-10 high carbon steel, and it has been laminated in a Maru style with real hamon line. A special clay was applied to the blade by hand, using a thin covering near the edge and a thicker layer over the rest of the blade. this results in a relatively quick cooling of the edge during quenching, producing a hard edge and softer back. the beautiful real hamon on the blade was also result of the differential cooling of the blade (quenching and tempering).

-This blade has been hand polished with multiple grade sharpen stone by Japanese method, which made the surface of the blade like a mirror, the blade is also very sharp. important, the blade done with specific adsorb tungsten worked, so you don\'t worry about the blade rust in future and keep sharpened.

-The tip of the blade is featured "KAMASU-KISSAKI" points. {The line from the start of the kissaki to the top of it is almost straight. Such a kissaki is especially called "kamasu-" even if the kissaki is long or short. It looks very sharp. This type has a little different meaning than other types. Because, this type is an original shape of the kissaki before the 14th century. So this type is very rare today. } . which has irregular wavy boshi.

-This blade comes with a full length Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. this sword is strong enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper.

Koshirae: The Tsuba (guard), Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) of the sword is made of blacked carbon steel. The Habaki (blade collar) is a one piece brass construction. Two Seppas (spacer) secure the Tsuba.

Tsuka: The Tsuka (handle) core is wooden and it is tightly wrapped over genuine Ray skin (Samegawa) with silk Ito.The Tang of the sword is secured by two Mekugi (peg) . you can unassembled the blade from the handle by taking out 2 pegs. Two Menuki (ornament) are on each side of the Tsuka.

-Saya: The saya (sheath) of the sword is hard wooden with black lacquer work  be shine. A purple Silk Shigeuchi Sage-O has been tied around the Kurikata (knob) of the scabbard. The koiguchi (sheath mouth) has been hardened.
