-the blade of the sword has been hand forged using the ancient method of sword making .Carbon steel, AISI 1060 was forged several times, and then shaped and forged to make folded steel. 2 sides of AISI 1095 high carbon steel are added to make a SANMAI configuration. This blade was then clay tempered and has more than 14 process hand sharpening work. The hamon is real and resulted from quenching and tempering. clay hardened high carbon steel makes a strong cutting edge with a softer spine to absorb shock and reach the cutting standard. The visible tenuous undulating grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging. The blade has beed hand polished with multiple grade stones by the japanese method and has made the surface of the blade shine with a mirror effect. handmade fully bohi (groove) on blade\'s each side.
