The blade of the sword has been hand forged using the ancient method of sword making. Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened work.

The blade was made of folded steel. AISI 1075 High Carbon Steel are folded 11 times creating 2048 layers for superior strength and flexibility. the visible tenuous undulating grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging.

The blade has been thoroughly continuous rolling and tempered, A special clay adhesively on blade by handmade, using a thin covering near the edge and a thicker layer over the rest of the blade. this results in a relatively quicker Heat Treatment of the edge during Hardening, producing a hard edge and softer back. the beautiful authentic hamon on the blade is also result of the differential Hardening of the blade (quenching and tempering).

This blade has been hand polished with multiple grade sharpen stone by Japanese method, which made the surface of the blade like a mirror, also hamon line emerge on each side of blade.

The tip of the blade shaped a Chu Kissaki (medium length), it is well defined with the hamon going all the way through the Boshi.

This blade comes with a fully length Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. this sword is strong enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper.
